Facebook VP of Product, Chris Cox, announced on the Facebook Blog today that Facebook will be making improvements on how members are able to control sharing and privacy. There are several updates that after "what shows up on your profile and what happens when you share something new."
Here are a few changes you should be expecting:
New inline controls allows users to change who sees what part of your profile. Users will now be able to access this without having to go into the backend settings pages.
Facebook members will be notified of pending photo and post tags before the go on your wall.

Friends can no longer tag any photo or post without your approval. Prior to this change any user who had visibility of a post or photo had the option of tagging.
This feature was always available but also only accessible by going into your settings. Now Facebook members can "View Profile As..." with a quick click to the top of their profile.
An obvious response to Google+ Circles- Facebook users now have the option of controlling the information they share on their wall. Currently the dropdown options are limited to "Public," "Friends" and "Custom." Facebook explains that this dropdown menu will expand into smaller groups. Until then, this is sort of pointless in my opinion.

- Tag Who You're With, or What You Want to Talk About
Users are no longer limited to tagging friends; you can tag anyone who is on Facebook (pending their approval of course.)
Geotagging is now available for any post- regardless of device or type of update.
- Remove Tags or Content from Facebook
Really hate that picture and want to go further than untagging? Facebook now offers three options when removing tags or content:
